ABOUT
Hello! My name is Sasha Stekolenko.
After 20 years of experience in directing and different forms of visual storytelling, I started painting, creating linocuts, and experimenting with textile patterns.
I am passionate about designing scarves and seamless patterns. I enjoy creating narrative design and telling stories through illustrations and prints.
I am constantly inspired by antique mythology, fairy tales, Tibetan thangkas, Indian miniatures, Ukrainian naiv folk painting, and Ukrainian Baroque graphics.
This influence can be felt in “Berezhychi” - the Ukrainian version of Himalayan prayer flags, as well as in my original design of Ukrainian headscarves.
I am open to any collaborations.
